Data Privacy Policy
Liber Enterprise, in its commitment to uphold, respect and value data privacy rights hereby complies with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012, its implementing rules and regulations, and other relevant policies.
The company ensures that all personal data collected from its officials, personnel, clients, and other data subjects shall be processed in adherence of the general principles of transparency, legitimate purpose, and proportionality. To guide the company and its data subjects in exercising their rights under the Data Privacy Act, this declaration shall include data protection and security measures.
1. Personal Information.
Personal information refers to any information such as but not limited to name, address, email address, and mobile numbers whether recorded in a material form or not, from which the identity of an individual is apparent or can be reasonably and directly ascertained by the entity holding the information, or when put together with other information would directly and certainly identify an individual.
2. Use and Disclosure of Information
Personal Information may be used for the following:
a. Communications. Constant communication is done from the company through its officials and personnel to its clients to deliver company services, trainings, promotions, and updates. Data subjects have the right not to receive communication regarding promotions and updates.
b. Business Purposes. Gathered information is used for internal business analysis and management. Personal information gathered through the website may be combined with demographic information and other information that is publicly available, obtained online or offline.
c. Product Awareness. The company may reach out to clients regarding new products and its benefits to generate awareness but only with prior consent of the data subject.
d. Contests, Raffles, and Promotions. Personal information may be required to participate in either company or third party sponsor hosted contests, raffles, and promotions. Personal information will not be processed without prior consent of the data subject.
e. Third Party Providers. Providers like banks, and companies that provide web hosting, data analytics, promotion, and administration services collaborate with the company to provide services to all clients. Personal information may be shared to the previously mentioned outfits in these activities.
f. Miscellaneous. The company may access, keep, and disclose Personal information if the company believes it requires to do so: by law; to satisfy any applicable law or regulation, comply with legal process or government requests; to enforce our terms & conditions of service, including investigation of potential violations thereof; to protect our operations; detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security or technical issues (including, without limitation, the filtering of spam); to protect the rights, privacy, safety of property of the company, data subjects or others; and to permit us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
3. Scope and Method of Processing of Data
Physical or digitally collected Personal Information may be recorded and stored through servers located in the Philippines and the United States. We may organize, consolidate, and retrieve Personal Information for the aforementioned purposes, as well as update, modify or correct provided Personal Information upon request. Personal Information may be erased and removed from the server after the data subject’s account is deactivated or upon request in line with the company’s terms and conditions.
4. Retaining Data
The company may retain the gathered Personal Information from data subjects while the data subject’s account is active with the company. Should the data subject wish to delete the submitted Personal Information, the data subject should send a formal request to the company. Once Personal Information is deleted, the company may not be able to provide the data subject with the service tied or registered with the deleted Personal Information.
5. Policy Changes
The company reserves the right to change its Data Privacy Policy when its necessary. Data subjects are encouraged to review the company’s Data Privacy Policy from time to time or when invited to do so.
